I used the same techniques as the Christmas Album and created this baby girl one. I was going to embellish it more but it would make the book too thick and not close properly. Having recently got an envelope punch board I found it great for making notches in card and great for rounding corners.

Kinda Eclectric card
DD bought me Stampin Up Kinda Electric for my birthday. Love using it, especially the leaves that go with all the other flower sets I have.
This card uses SU En Francais, Kinda Eclectric and Blended Bloom stamps. Sentiment from Lots of Thanks set. Coloured the flower with the yellow blendabilities. Just noticed my chiffon ribbon is fraying, will seal that with a flame.

Mothers Day Card
Mothers day is always a great time to bring out the floral stamps. This one from stampin up called Stippled Blossoms is my favourite at the moment. Sentiment on the front is printed out from MDS,
Inside it is a pop up card using the teacup from the Tea Shoppe set. Small butterflies are from Papillion potpourri.
Ink is rose red stamped off twice to give the pale shade then full strength for the darker shades.
Close up of the card. Next time I will pop the front roses up on dimensionals to give some depth
Side of card showing the simple pop up mechanism. I scored the outside card leaving a 1/16th gap in the middle to make folding over the inside card easier.

Paper Roses
The family often want me to help them whip up crafty things and one of my sons wanted to surprise his wife with a traditional gift for their first wedding anniversary. Paper. These are the dozen paper roses we created.
made from 5 layers of paper cut into petals and glued into a rose shape. Tutorial was on the net. We used an old romance novel and painted the pages in a red wash.
Flowers are pushed onto a wire and stem wrapped in florist tape.
